I love that there are various properties one must align with in order to create with metal. The tools are more aggressive and less accessible than other art forms thereby offering me a chance to be most grateful when I do have the opportunity to create with it. It’s awfully humbling as well, for a wrong move can have serious consequences, for the piece as well as the artist. Using forge, hand tools, soldering and welding I create pieces I find pleasing. As an artist, occasionally, I like to create moments taken from everyday life and apply them in a non customary way. My foray into metalwork and jewelry making is in it’s early stages, and I’m eager to explore with the many ideas I have simmering in my creative mind.
