Jacqueline. The artist.
I’m a multidisciplinary prairie artist located in Saskatoon.
I've been a creative and art maker for as long as I can remember, always craving expression and beauty. Growing up on the Canadian prairies I embraced the contrast of climate and the insights that provided. My formal and informal art education has been rather diverse and always timely. This continues to be important, unearthing new aspects of myself as well as skills in new mediums that beg my attention.
I made a living in design, data management and educational settings - all fulfilling in themselves. The yearning for a more dedicated art practice was always on the periphery. As my family grew up, I grew too, through carefully chosen courses, retreats and teachers. These opportunities and mediums expanded my passion to produce a body of work that's gone in several artistic directions, which suits me perfectly. Most recently, I've come to enjoy more focused time and attention to my art making and to finding my audience.
